Wuthering Waves Best Team Comps (2026): Top Teams for Every Carry

The Short Answer

Almost every strong Wuthering Waves team follows one shape:

Intel

Main DPS + Sub-DPS + Support (or Healer).

Your Main DPS does most of the damage on field, your Sub-DPS adds off-field damage and amplifies the carry, and your Support buffs, heals, or shields. The glue is the Concerto and quick-swap system: each Resonator builds Concerto Energy, casts an Outro Skill as you swap out, and the next unit enters with an Intro Skill. Chain those swaps and your damage windows line up. Build around that loop and you can clear the Tower of Adversity with free and low-cost units.

The Three Roles

Main DPS (carry): stays on field for the big damage. Examples: Jinhsi, Changli, Camellya, Carlotta, Jiyan.
Sub-DPS (amplifier): drops a strong Outro buff or off-field damage, then leaves. Examples: Yinlin, Mortefi, Zhezhi, Sanhua.
Support / Healer: keeps the team alive and buffs damage. Verina, Shorekeeper, and Baizhi are the go-to picks.

How to Build Any Team

Pick a carry you actually have. Pull only for Resonators you will invest in. Read the Convene pity system before you spend Astrite.
Match the element or playstyle. Pair the carry with a Sub-DPS whose Outro Skill buffs the carry's damage type, then add a Support.
Learn the rotation. Open with your Support and Sub-DPS to stack buffs, swap to the carry inside the buffed window, and repeat. Cancel animations with swaps to keep uptime high.
