Clashing and Coins
How Clashes resolve in Limbus Company: coins, heads and tails, Sanity, and staggering enemy skills.
Combat in Limbus Company resolves through Clashes. When a Sinner's skill meets an enemy's skill, both sides roll their Coins: each coin can land heads (adding its Coin Power to the skill) or tails (no bonus). The side with the higher Final Power wins the clash and removes the loser's coins, often staggering them.
The chance of flipping heads scales with Sanity: a high-Sanity Sinner clashes far more reliably than a panicked one. Because some Identities and E.G.O instead lose power on heads, always read a skill's coin direction before building around it.
