Season 8 "STÚDĪUM PUNCTUM" is live. It opened on September 17, 2026 alongside Canto X "The Gaze Bearing", Meursault's chapter, and the current rate-up is the season opener Target Extraction running until October 1: two new 000 Identities, Ryōshū (Blunt, Tremor, shielded) and Ishmael (Pierce, Bleed). The twist most people got wrong is that Meursault himself does not get an Identity here, he gets an E.G.O, and all four of the season's new E.G.O come off the Season Pass rather than the banner, so nothing on the pull side competes with the two Identities. Canto X arrives in three weekly parts, and Mirror Dungeon 8 comes with the season. Because the Dispenser lets you craft from shards, none of this is now-or-never: a banner you miss is a delay, not a loss. Below is the full rotation with a "should you pull" verdict on each.

Version Season 8Should you pull? Live now, and closing October 1. Two 000 Identities that point at different teams, so pick rather than split. Ryōshū is the Tremor pick: Blunt, Envy/Pride/Sloth, with a unique Preservation charge feeding Tremor Burst behind a Shield layer. Ishmael is the Bleed pick: Pierce, Wrath/Envy/Lust, with a Pulsation charge, Lust Fragility and an aggro pull. If one of those two status engines is already your main team, extract there; the Dispenser will cover the other later. Nothing else on the banner competes for your shards, because all four new E.G.O come off the Season Pass instead.
Opened 2026.9.17 12:00 KST and runs to 2026.10.1 10:00 KST, per limbuscompany.wiki.gg's Extraction banner history. Season 8 STÚDĬUM PUNCTUM began September 17 alongside Canto X "The Gaze Bearing", Meursault's chapter, which ships in three weekly parts from that date, plus Mirror Dungeon 8. The season's four new E.G.O are Season Pass rewards, not Extraction pulls: Repudiation (Hong Lu, ZAYIN) free at level 30 and Hollow (Faust, WAW) free at level 80, with Mirror-touch (Rodion, TETH) at level 40 and Hollow (Meursault, WAW) at level 120 on the paid track. Note Meursault gets an E.G.O, not an Identity, despite Canto X being his chapter.

Version Season 7Should you pull? Closed September 17 when Season 8 opened. A Burn and Charge payoff tool rather than a headline Identity, and still worth a Dispenser craft if you run Gregor in a Burn team, since its Coin Power scales off Burn potency on the target and off your own Charge.
