Most Sinner kits are a damage number with some conditions attached. NOX has one line that is worth more than her damage:
Nether Intimidation. When NOX is present, all enemies' Defense decreases by 15%.
Not while channelling. Not on hit. While present. Deploy her and every enemy on the board takes more damage from your entire squad, forever, for free. At skill level 10 it is 27%, and the third Shackle raises it by half again while her Ultimate runs.
That is why she turns up in team after team and why she is the easiest S-Rank to justify building: her floor is a permanent team-wide debuff that does not care what the rest of your roster looks like.
The snowball, and what it costs
Her second passive is the one people build around:
Soul Corruption. When an enemy dies, NOX's Attack increases by 0.6%, up to a maximum of 15%.
Twenty-five kills to cap. The cap goes to 30% at skill level 10, which is where it becomes a real number rather than a rounding error. Note what it keys off: an enemy dies, not NOX kills an enemy. Her ramp is fed by the whole team.
Her Ultimate is where the commitment arrives:
Touch of Despair. Enhances her normal attack for 20 seconds, during which Energy cannot be automatically recovered. Each swing now deals 2 waves of Sword of Defeat, a creation that deals Physical Damage to all enemies within the skill range.
Twenty seconds of enhanced AoE swings, paid for with your energy regeneration. It is not a button you mash on cooldown. It is a window you open when there is a wave in front of her, and if you open it into an empty lane you have spent the resource and the regen for nothing.
Ash Tide, the first Shackle, is the fix: every enemy NOX kills extends the Ultimate by 1 second, up to 8. Open it on a full wave and it pays for itself; open it early and it does not.
The full kit
| Skill | Type | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Destruction | Basic | 90% of Attack, Physical, single target per hit. Lv10: 161% |
| Touch of Despair | Ultimate | 20s enhanced normal attack, 2 waves of Sword of Defeat per swing, AoE in range. No auto energy recovery while active |
| Soul Corruption | Passive 1 | +0.6% Attack per enemy death, cap 15%. Lv10 cap: 30% |
| Nether Intimidation | Passive 2 | All enemies -15% Defense while NOX is deployed. Lv10: 27% |
| Pitch Black Sunset | Exclusive Crimebrand | 600% of Attack plus 1 Core Damage to all enemies in range, then the 20s enhanced attack. Each enemy hit gives NOX 10% damage reduction, stacking 5 times, lasting until the Ultimate ends |
Pitch Black Sunset goes to 700% at level 2 and 800% at level 3. Read the damage reduction clause carefully, because it changes how she is played: hitting five enemies with the cast gives her 50% damage reduction for the whole twenty seconds. The Ultimate is not just her damage window, it is her survival window, and it is widest exactly when she is surrounded.
Her profile line adds a quiet multiplier on top: "Deals 5% more Damage, and another 5% more for enemies with broken Cores." Her Exclusive Crimebrand deals Core Damage itself, so the cast sets up its own condition.
Shackles
| Stage | Name | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Ash Tide | Each kill extends the Ultimate by 1 second, up to 8 |
| 2 | Shackles Sync I | Normal attack damage +5% |
| 3 | Shudder | Nether Intimidation increases by 50% while the Ultimate is active |
| 4 | Energy Overflowing | +15 Energy on entering battle |
| 5 | Shackles Sync II | Normal attack damage +5% |
Stage 3 is the one. It takes the team-wide Defense shred and multiplies it by 1.5 for the duration of her Ultimate, so her damage window is also everyone else's damage window. At skill 10 that is 27% going to roughly 40% for twenty seconds, across the whole enemy board.
Stage 4 is worth more than it reads. Fifteen energy on deployment means the first Ultimate lands meaningfully sooner, and in a kit that suppresses energy regen for twenty seconds afterwards, getting the first cast off early shifts the whole rhythm of the fight.
Stage 1 is what makes the Ultimate honest. Stages 2 and 5 are flat and fine.
The stat line
Level 90: 5,800 HP, 622 Attack, 523 Defense, 497 MRes, Block 1, Speed 0.86.
That is a genuinely sturdy front-line body, which is unusual for a Fury carry and explains why she survives the twenty seconds her Ultimate asks her to stand in. Her Mania Intensify (Direct Hit) adds 15% Physical Penetration, and since every number in her kit is Physical, penetration is never wasted on her.
Build order
- Nether Intimidation first. 15% to 27% team-wide Defense shred is the single highest-value skill level on the Sinner, and it benefits five units rather than one.
- Soul Corruption second. The cap moving 15% to 30% is what turns the ramp into a win condition in long fights.
- Shackle 3, then Shackle 1. Shudder makes her Ultimate a team cooldown. Ash Tide makes it affordable.
- Phase 3 for Pitch Black Sunset, if you intend to run her in anything crowded. The stacking damage reduction is as valuable as the 600%.
- Destruction last. It is her smallest lever.
In practice she anchors the Fury shred team, where Demon holds the line and Hamel sustains while NOX ramps, and her Defense shred is the reason the rest of that comp hits as hard as it does. The tier list places her against the rest of the S-Rank roster, the Crimebrand guide covers the gear layer, and the arrest rates and pity guide covers what pulling for her costs.

The wiki's Reforge section also lists a later-phase Ultimate whose numbers contradict the Exclusive Crimebrand text on the same page, so only the Pitch Black Sunset values are quoted here.
