Hiyuki is a 5-star Glacio Resonator who fights with a Sword. She plays as a main DPS, chaining forte combos and her Resonance Liberation into sustained Glacio damage.
How to Play
Pair Hiyuki with a Glacio amplifier and a sustain, build Concerto Energy, then hold the field through her rotations. See her ranking on the Wuthering Waves tier list.
Best Build
Weapons: Frostburn (signature, clear best-in-slot for Glacio DMG, Liberation DMG, and Glacio Chafe amplification), with a notable gap over alternatives; otherwise a standard 5-star or 4-star Sword with ATK%/Crit. Echo Set: Wishes of Quiet Snowfall (best 5pc Sonata for her Glacio damage). Main Echo: A 4-cost Glacio Echo that supports her Glacio Chafe damage windows. Main Stats: 4-cost Crit Rate or Crit DMG / 3-cost Glacio DMG Bonus / 1-cost ATK%. Substats: Balance Crit toward roughly a 70:250 ratio, push Energy Regen to about 120%, then Resonance Liberation DMG and ATK%.
Best Teams
- Snow Rust: Hiyuki with Chisa (raises Glacio Chafe stack limit and applies Havoc Bane) and Lucilla, which fully activates her Snow Rust passive for extra Glacio Bite DMG.
- Tune Break: Hiyuki with Lynae and Mornye, who funnel Tune Break Boost and faster Off-Tune buildup into her.
Kit Overview
- Resonance Skill: applies and consumes Glacio Chafe to drive her damage.
- Resonance Liberation: her main burst, scaling with Glacio DMG and Liberation DMG.
- Core role: Glacio Negative Status DPS who self-applies Glacio Chafe and leans on her Concerto and Outro to chain her damage windows.
Pros and Cons
Pros: Frostburn gives a large damage lead; self-sufficient Glacio Chafe application; strong in both Snow Rust and Tune Break teams. Cons: Snow Rust passive needs the exact Chisa plus Lucilla lineup to unlock; fairly Energy Regen hungry.
