The Short Answer

Wuthering Waves Version 3.5, subtitled "Blade of Past Resounds, Lingering Dream Hymns," launches July 10, 2026. The same day marks the game's debut on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and Xbox Game Pass, with full cross-progression so existing PC or mobile accounts carry straight over. The patch introduces a new area, Xuanfang Hold in the Mengzhou region, and two new 5-star Resonators split across the version's two banner phases: Yangyang: Xuanling in Phase 1, and Suisui in Phase 2.

Xbox Launch Details

Wuthering Waves' Xbox release brings crossplay and cross-save across every platform the game supports. Series X targets a stable 60 FPS while Series S runs at 30 FPS. Xbox Game Pass subscribers get an exclusive launch reward, including a unique cosmetic Sigil and a claimable gift pack per version containing Echo-related upgrade items like Morphable Echoes and Premium Tuners.

Three redemption codes are active around the update, each worth 300 Astrite for accounts at Union Level 2 or higher:

  • MECHANISMCITY
  • INTOTHEFOG
  • REUNION

These are time-limited, so redeem them in-game or via the official redemption site as soon as you can. Check the Wuthering Waves codes page for anything added after launch.

Yangyang: Xuanling, the First SP Unit

Yangyang: Xuanling is the SP (Sublimation) variant of Yangyang, one of the game's original 4-star starter characters, making her the first-ever alternate 5-star version of an existing 4-star in Wuthering Waves history. She wields a Havoc Sword and plays as a Main DPS built around Heavy Attack damage and Havoc Bane application. Her signature 5-star sword, Azure Oath, debuts alongside her in Phase 1, and reruns for Lynae and Luuk Herssen round out the first half of the patch.

Suisui: Glacio Support and Sub-DPS Hybrid

Suisui is a 5-star Glacio Resonator who fights with a water fan and a Rectifier, applying the Glacio Chafe status to enemies. Her role sits between support and sub-DPS, raising her team's overall damage ceiling rather than acting as a standalone carry. She headlines Phase 2 alongside a rerun for Aemeath.

Mengzhou: The New Region

Xuanfang Hold, part of the broader Mengzhou region, sits adjacent to the existing Jinzhou area and unlocks with the version's main story content. Expect the usual wave of exploration puzzles, side quests, and echo spawns tied to the new zone on release.

Should You Pull?

If Havoc Main DPS is a gap in your roster, or you want the novelty of the game's first SP unit, Xuanling in Phase 1 is the priority pull. Suisui in Phase 2 is more of a support-layer investment that raises the ceiling of an existing team rather than a must-pull carry. See our Xuanling build guide for weapon, echo, and team recommendations once she is live, and check the Wuthering Waves tier list for where both land against the current roster.
