The Short Answer
Turbulent Timeways V, World of Warcraft's Dragonflight-themed timewalking event, went live June 30, 2026 in Patch 12.0.7 and runs for six weeks through August 11. It rotates six Dragonflight dungeons through the Timewalking queue and awards Timewarped Badges toward mounts, gear, and cosmetics, headlined by the new Spawn of Vyranoth mount. At the same time, Blizzard opened dungeon testing for Midnight Season 2, giving players an early look at four upcoming dungeons ahead of the expansion. For a full farming rundown, see our WoW Timewalking guide.
The Dungeon Rotation
Turbulent Timeways queues six Dragonflight dungeons scaled down to Timewalking difficulty:
- Algeth'ar Academy
- Halls of Infusion
- Neltharus
- Ruby Life Pools
- The Azure Vaults
- Brackenhide Hollow
Each completion awards roughly 15 to 25 Timewarped Badges, with a larger bonus from the event's weekly quest.
Spawn of Vyranoth and the Rest of the Reward Track
The headline reward is Spawn of Vyranoth, redeemable for one of four exclusive mount skins. Earning it requires the "Master of the Turbulent Timeways V" achievement, which asks players to maintain "Mastery of the Timeways," a buff earned through repeated event participation, across any four weeks of the six-week run.
Beyond that, returning Timeways mounts, Sandy Shalewing, Timely Buzzbee, and Chrono Corsair, are purchasable from any Timewalking vendor for 5,000 Timewarped Badges each. Two new mounts join the vendor this cycle: the Liquid Hot Magma Slug and the Black-Furred Bakkar, both also priced at 5,000 badges.
The event also buffs experience and reputation gains. Stacking the participation buff four times converts it into "Mastery of the Timeways," which raises XP from kills and quests by 30% and persists even through death, making the event genuinely worthwhile for alt leveling, not just badge farming.
Midnight Season 2 Dungeon Testing
Running in parallel, Blizzard opened public testing for four Midnight Season 2 dungeons: The Blinding Vale, Den of Nalorakk, Murder Row, and Voidscar Arena, with testing scheduled July 2 through July 6. This is separate from the Timewalking event but gives an early, playable look at what Midnight's next content season has planned for Mythic+ and dungeon rotations.
July's Trading Post
July's Trading Post rotation runs alongside both events with a blue-themed collection of cosmetics. Complete the month's activities to earn Trader's Tender and fill out your Traveler's Log, with the Bilgewater X-TREME mount as this cycle's headline unlock.
