By combined critic score, Half-Life 2 still tops the list, with Portal 2 and BioShock Infinite right behind. Valve dominates the upper tier of the genre.
Half-Life 2, BioShock Infinite, Doom Eternal, and Titanfall 2 all deliver outstanding campaigns. Titanfall 2 in particular is famed for its inventive levels.
