Phase 2 Is Live, and Amphoreus Is Calling
If you skipped the Amphoreus arc the first time around, the game just handed you a second chance. Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.3 Phase 2 is now live, and it brings back two of the most requested characters from the story: Phainon and Cyrene. Both rerun banners run from June 24 until July 14, 2026 (server time), so you have the back half of the patch to decide.
This is a rerun-focused phase, which is genuinely good news if you missed these two: no need to win a coin flip against a brand-new unit you did not plan for.
Phainon: the Hypercarry Everyone Waited For
Phainon is a 5-star Physical Destruction character, and he is the headline. He is the kind of self-sufficient carry the community has been asking for: a unit that can anchor a team, carry his own damage, and turn the late-game endgame modes into a victory lap. If you have been short on a top-tier main DPS for Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, or Apocalyptic Shadow, he is one of the cleanest answers in the game right now.
For the full breakdown of his kit, best Light Cones, relics, and team comps, check his Phainon wiki page.
Cyrene: a Premium Remembrance Pick
Cyrene is a 5-star Ice Remembrance unit, running the newer Remembrance path that leans on a memosprite to do work on the field. She is a strong, flexible pull for players building toward a Remembrance or follow-up style core, and she pairs naturally with the support-heavy teams that define a lot of the current meta. Her Cyrene wiki page has the details.
Should You Pull?
Here is the honest read:
- Pull Phainon if you want a future-proof main DPS and do not already have a Destruction or Physical carry you love. He is the safer, more universally useful of the two.
- Pull Cyrene if you are specifically building a Remembrance or memosprite team, or you just adore the character. She is excellent but more specialized.
- Save if your account already has a carry and a support core you are happy with. Reruns come back, and a healthy Stellar Jade balance is never a bad thing.
Before you spend anything, two quick reminders: read the Warp pity refresher so you know exactly where your pity stands, and claim every active code on the Honkai: Star Rail codes page for free pulls first. Free Jade is still free Jade.
